  31. I be looking for a bit of help.  I am writing a diary but need to be able
  32. to validate a given date and return the day of the week the date falls (or
  33. fell) on.  The date validation I have been able to do, including leap
  34. years, but not the day of the week.

  36. Any suggestions, example code?
